I love words and the impact they can convey and am a self-confessed bookworm; since I taught myself to read at the age of three by studying the front page of the local Daily Echo!

 

In life, you have to know what you are good at and excel in a certain area...

 

Well, my forte is writing beautiful,impactive copy that delivers the desired effect, time and time again.

 

I am a professional yet creative copywriter who has excellent proof-reading and editing skills and no apologies for being so meticulous about detail and typos as I have a get-out clause - I'm a Virgo!

 

A forward thinker who prefers outside the box; with exemplary interpersonal skills and a passion for constantly pushing and challenging myself.  I am very driven - I like to make a difference and am extremely passionate about words and writing. 'Near enough is NEVER good enough!'

 

My focus is very much about media, marketing, company/brand awareness and advertising but I can turn my hand to anything that is word related - however distant that it may seem!

 

My client list is varied and fairly diverse, no two jobs are ever the same but I like the buzz from each new project I begin and love the work I do.  

 

More recently, as well as my regular clients, I have written extensively for a huge business listing website as well as overseeing  and project-managing a golfing quarterly newsletter and members' directory for an exclusive golf company that has high profile businesses and members. I enjoy what I do and don't calculate time or hours, as I aim to deliver optimum results - customer satisfaction is my recommendation and very often a link to another client - so it has to be right.   

 

I have written a book which I am hoping to get published but I have put that aside for a day when I get the time to work on my own projects :)

 

Through meeting with a local children's drama company, I wrote a script about an autistic child being integrated into a mainstream school.  This was shown at a local cinema to a receptive audience and received positive reviews.
